May 8, 2007 Dear Potential Tournament Donor: We are seeking your support as a prize donor for the Jon Rolie Memorial Golf Tournament, which will be held at the El Zagal Golf Course in Fargo on July 25, 2007. Prizes you donate will help us raise money for the American Diabetes Association in its fight against a disease Jon battled for most of his life. Jon Rolie, a longtime NDSU employee, was a colleague and friend to many in the Fargo/Moorhead/West Fargo area. He retired from NDSU in June 2006 and passed away only months later. Jon’s love of friends and golf can best be remembered by holding this golf tournament. All levels of support are welcome. Some suggestions: prizes for drawings, sponsorship of a hole, money, gift cards, merchandise, items for golfers or your promotional items. If you have it, we can use it.
